D i s t r i b u t i o n: Mali.
Known from the Ethiopian Region. In the Linsenmaier Collection (Natur Museum Luzern) there is a specimen labelled “ Sudan Sokolo Cle de Macina de Lepiney / lere quinz Juillet 1933 / 1935 coll. Thery”. The locality is situated in Mali ( Sudan = French Sudan). Chrysis blanchardi abbreviaticornis du BUYSSON belongs to the maculicornis group (KIMSEY & BOHART (1990: 391)).
