Diagnosis. Palpus brownish black. All coxae blackish. All femora (except tips) blackish. Tibia I with 3 ad. Male cercus with outer process thin and furcated apically. Hypandrium deeply furcated.
Description. Male. Body length 1.3–1.5 mm, wing length 2.0– 2.3 mm.
Head metallic green with pale gray pollen. Hairs and bristles on head yellow. Ocellar tubercle weak, with 2 very long oc and 2 very short posterior hairs. Antenna ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 – 13 ) black; pedicel with circlet of black apical hairs; first flagellomere rather short, 0.6x as long as wide; arista dorsal, black, with very short pubescence. Proboscis brownish black, with yellow hairs; palpus brownish black, with yellow hairs and 2 yellow apical bristles.
Thorax metallic green with pale gray pollen. Hairs and bristles on thorax yellow; 5 strong dc, 4–5 irregularly paired acr short and hair-like; scutellum with 2 pairs of bristles, outer pair about 0.25x as long as inner pair. Propleuron with 1 yellowish hair and 1 yellowish bristle on lower portion. Legs with coxae black, trochanters and femora blackish (femora with yellow tips), tibiae and tarsi yellow except tarsomere 5 dark brown. Hairs and bristles on legs yellow; coxa I with 2–3 long bristles. Femora II and III each with 1 av at apex. Tibia I with 3 ad, apically with 1 bristle; tibia II with 2 ad and 2 pd, apically with 4 bristles; tibia III with 2 ad and 2–3 pd, apically with 3 bristles. Relative lengths of tibia and 5 tarsomeres of legs LI 1.2: 0.65: 0.3: 0.2: 0.15: 0.15; LII 1.6: 0.9: 0.45: 0.3: 0.15: 0.2; LIII 1.9: 0.65: 0.45: 0.3: 0.2: 0.2. Wing hyaline; veins dark brownish yellow, R4+5 and M nearly parallel apically; CuAx ratio 0.25. Squama brown with yellow hairs. Halter brown.
Abdomen metallic green with pale gray pollen. Hairs and bristles on abdomen yellow. Male genitalia ( Figs. 12–13 View FIGURES 11 – 13 ): epandrium distinctly longer than wide; surstylus not distinctly separated from epandrium, rather thin and acute apically; cercus narrowing toward apex, with outer process thin and furcated apically; hypandrium with 2 lateral arms somewhat asymmetrical, bearing 1 inner denticle.
Female. Body length 1.5–1.6 mm, wing length 2.1–2.2 mm. Similar to male.

Distribution. Nepal.
Etymology. The specific name refers to the deeply furcated hypandrium.
Remarks. This new species is somewhat similar to Chrysotimus nepalensis sp. nov. in having the dark coxae, but may be separated from the latter by the black palpus and deeply furcated hypandrium. In C. nepalensis , the palpus is dark brownish yellow, and the hypandrium is not furcated.
