Specimens examined:— UPPER MYANMAR. Abdul Huk s.n. ( CAL). CHIN. Falam District: fide Aung et al. (2020: 70); Mindat District: 915 m, 25 Aug 1956, Kingdon-Ward 22595 ( BM). MANDALAY. Pyinoolwin District: Samuel s.n. in Maymyo Botanic Gardens 13509 ( K), ident. uncertain; same loc., 3 Mar 1925, Cooper s.n. ( E), det. E. A. Christenson. TENASSERIM. Parish 284 (not located), fide Parish (1883: 199; as Sarcanthus filiforme ). Reported from Kachin State and Tanintharyi Region by Kress et al. (2003: 69), but we have not seen material from these areas.
Distribution:— The Himalayas, northeastern India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and southwestern and southern China.
