Hymenophyllopsis ctenitoides Lellinger (1984: 3) View in CoL . Type: VENEZUELA, Bolívar, Chimantá Massif, Churi-Tepui (Muru- Tepui), lower part of lower northwest cumbres, 2100–2200 m, Wurdack 34175 (holotype US!, isotypes NY, UC).
Distribution: Venezuela (Amazonas, Bolívar), Mt. Roraima, lithophytic and terrestrial, in shaded crevices and at the base of rocks often on tepui summits, 2200–2750 m.
Characteristics: This species has a long and very scaly rhizome, a character that it shares with C. universitatis , but has a more divided (3-pinnate) lamina.
