Not Cycloseris somervillei View in CoL – Turak & DeVantier, 2011: 131 (= Lobactis scutaria View in CoL ).
This free-living species is rare at Brunei: recorded at 3 out of 17 sites ( Table 2). The prominent lower order costae ( Fig. 3H View Fig ) are characteristic for this oval and relatively large Cycloseris species.
