New record. ARGENTINA: La Rioja province, Departamento Rosario Pañaloza, Sierra de Argana, El Rosillo. 20X97. M. E. Irwin and F. D. Parker coll., 1 female, (FCOC).
Comment. Daimothoracodes magnificus was previously known only from the type locality, Bolivia, Santa Cruz, Ichilo province, Buenavista ( Martínez 1994).
