Discussion. Waugh & Wirth (1976) described this species from the eastern United States based on specimens from Florida , Georgia (type locality), Maryland , New Hampshire , Pennsylvania and Virginia . In their Nearctic catalog, Borkent & Grogan (2009) also listed it from Utah and Ontario, Canada. We identified a male from Guadeloupe as this species that we compared with a male paratype from Georgia and several other males from Florida and Maryland . We provide the first record of this species in the Caribbean region from Guadeloupe .
Material examined. Guadeloupe, Basse Terre, La Trace du Petit-Malendure, 21-V-2012, R. H. Turnbow, BL trap, 1 male . New Guadeloupe record.
