Distribution:— India, the Himalayas, Myanmar and Thailand.
Notes:— Dendrobium crispum is conspecific with D. pygmaeum , D. humile and D. peguanum . Unfortunately, it must replace the commonly used D. peguanum . When proposed, D. crispum had D. humile in synonymy. However, the description of D. crispum applies to another taxon (a species later described as D. turbinatum Ormerod & C.S.Kumar ), thereby confusing many later authors. For the complicated taxonomic history of this species see Ormerod & Sathish Kumar (2018: 282).
