Specimens examined:— TENASSERIM. 1 Apr 1834, Helfer s.n., Kew Distr. 5066 ( K, NY) , ident. uncertain; same loc., Parish 32 ( K) ; same loc., Parish s.n. (icon. K) ; same loc., Gilbert s.n. ( K) . MON. Mawlamyine District: Lobb 32 ( K) , det. G. Seidenfaden. TANINTHARYI. Myeik District : type. Also reported from Sagaing Region and Kayin and Rakhine states by Kress et al. (2003: 74), but we have not seen material from these areas .
Distribution:— Myanmar, Thailand, Indochina and Malesia as far east as the Moluccas.
