Material examined. No material collected or examined.

Diagnosis: This species is distinguishable from the other species of Dendryphantes in Chile as the cephalothorax is black with large white areas made of white pennate hairs below and behind PLE. The abdomen is black with two transversal fawn stripes and a border of white hairs around the edge of the anterior two thirds of the abdomen. Tibia 1 has a clear white ventral fringe.

Description: Male (after Mello-Leitao 1936): Cephalothorax black with large white areas made of white pennate hairs below and behind PLE. Chelicerae, endites, labium and anterior-tapering sternum are black. Abdomen black with two transversal fawn stripes and a border of white hairs around the edge of the anterior two thirds of the abdomen ( Mello-Leitao 1936, Fig. 9 View FIGURES 4 – 10 ). Reflective hairs are scattered across the anterior and centre parts of the abdomen. The spinnerets are black. LI fringed, longer and much more robust than the other legs. All femurs and patellas plus tibias I to III black. Metatarsus I black. Metatarsi II to IV and basal part of patella IV fawn. All tarsi yellow with black hairs. Tibia I with a clear white ventral fringe. Palp: tibia with single small apophysis curved inwards and directed forward, embolus long, straight and solidly built (Mello- Leitao 1936, Fig. 10 View FIGURES 4 – 10 ). Tegulum rounded, without lobe and partly divided distally. Ventral spines: T1 1-1-1, T2 1-1-2, M1 & M2 2-2, T3 and T4 2-2, M3 and M4 with a distal circle of spines.

Female: Unknown.

Distribution. Known only from the holotype from Papudo, Chile.
