Diagnosis. The forewing length is 12.0–13.0 mm in males and 14.0–14.5 mm in females. The detailed comparison with D. cretacea is provided below in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Description of female ( Fig. 2 ). Antenna filiform. Head and thorax brownish-grey, patagia and tegula edged with ochreous. Forewing longer and narrower than in male, with subapically slightly convex costal margin. Forewing ground colour brownish-grey, costa and cilia pale ochreous. Hindwing pale ochreous, slightly darker terminally. Female genitalia ( Fig. 12 ). Papilla analis semielliptical and weakly setose. Apophysis anterioris elongate and thin. 8 th sternite broad, heavily sclerotised, its sternite markedly longer and broader than tergite and having deep and triangular membranous postvaginal area. Ostium bursae broad, funnel-shaped with membranous ventral margin. Ductus bursae short and broad, membranous and rugose. Corpus bursae pyriform, rugose, lacking signa. Appendix bursae vestigial.

Distribution. Vietnam (Tuyên Quang, Vĩnh Phúc, Thừa Thiên Huế, and Kon Tum Provinces) ( Dubatolov 2012), Laos (Champasak Province), Thailand (Nan and Mae Hong Son Provinces), and western Malaysia (Pahang) (new records).
