Distribution: — D. glaziovii is restricted to northern Minas Gerais and Bahia.

Habitat:— D. glaziovii is distributed in a montane ecological refuge within a region of savanna, where it mostly occurs from 750m to 1000m.

Notes:—In the description of D. glaziovii, Taubert (1890) did not designate a holotype but the protologue cites the collector and location as Auguste Francois Marie Glaziou (1828–1906), Minas Gerais. The material deposited at P, Glaziou 13285 (P 06233111), is the only specimen that has Minas Gerais as the collection locality and, for this reason, is here designated as the lectotype according to Art. 9.12 of the ICN ( McNeill et al. 2012). The species occurs in the states of Minas Gerais and Bahia; however, some specimens of Glaziou 1385 (e.g. at B, G, K) erroneously indicate Rio de Janeiro State as the collection locality. Discrepancies in locality data and dates found among Glaziou’s collections have been previously cited ( Wurdack 1970). Despite this, all the Glaziou 13285 specimens have the same morphology and can be considered isolectotypes of D. glaziovii .
