Description:— Baseia et al. (2006: 89).
Habitat and distribution: — On soil, next to roots of “açaí” ( Euterpe precatoria Mart., Palmae ). Specimens were collected in fragments of secondary floodplain forest, a successional type of alluvial ombrophilous dense forest. It is known from Asia, Africa, North America, South America and Oceania ( Bottomley 1948, Cunningham 1944, Liu 1984). This is the first record for the state of Amazonas, Brazil.
