Morphological description. See Ramme (1951) and Demirsoy 1977.

Song (Original data). Generally calling song of D. cappadocicus consists of a long phrase ( Fig. 10 View FIGURE 10 C). This phrase consists of irregular number of syllables and ranged from 4 to 13. Each syllable lasting about 87–101 ms ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11 – 13 A) and consist of 5–8 high amplitude pulses. All syllables in the phrase do not include gaps and from begin to end of syllables with noisy song in the background. Amplitude of high amplitude pulses in the syllable is increase from first to second or third one and decreases from middle to last one. Each pulse period in syllable is lasting about 4–7 ms ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 11 – 13 B) and there is no gap between the pulses.

Distribution. This species was recorded from southern part of Turkey, especially on the range of Taurus Mountain ( Ramme 1951; Karabaġ 1958; Demirsoy 1977; Ünal 1997).
