Male: Head. Frons dark brown, scattered hairs. First row of bristles straight, antials nearly 2 times as far apart as either is to an antero-lateral. Second row of bristles straight, all four bristles are equidistant. Postpedicels brown, globose. Pre-apical arista with relative long hairs. Palp yellow, 3 times as long as its width. Thorax. Scutum brown. Scutellum with 2 bristles and 2 short hairs. Wing length 2.16mm, veins brown. Costal index 0.50. Costal ratios 10.66:2.66:1. Costal cilia 0.02mm. Veins brown and membrane pale. Halter yellow. Legs yellow. Fore tibia with 4 dorsal bristles. Dorsal hair palisade of midtibia extends to 0.57 of its length. Hind tibia without antero-dorsal bristles. Posterior face of hind femur with 6 peg-like bristles in single row and more distally at ventral edge is a concavity. Hind coxal lobe yellow, conical, with serrated short spines. Abdomen. Tergites mainly brown, except the anterior halves, or less, of tergites II and VI yellow. Venter and Cercus yellow. Terminalia brown. The left epandrium with a lots of fine hairs.

Distribution. China ( Taiwan).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to short and blunt spines covered on the hind coxal lobe.

Holotype. ♂, Taiwan, Nantou (23°53'N, 120°56'E, 675m), 11-XI-2010, Ding Yang; paratypes: 7♂, same data as holotype.

Remarks. This species is similar to D. malaysiae Green , but differs from latter by serrated spines on hind coxal lobe and uniformly brown of tergites III–V.
