Diagnosis. The forewing length is 15.0 mm in both sexes. Dolgoma nujianga sp. n. is very similar to D. lata sp. n. and differs only in the slightly more brownish forewing ground colour. The reliable identification requires the examination of the genitalia structures. The detailed comparison of the two species is provided below in the diagnosis of D. lata sp. n. Besides the aforementioned species, D. nujianga sp. n. is externally reminiscent of the Taiwanese Dolgoma rubrescens (Hampson, 1909) comb. n. ( Figs 6–8 View Figures 1–8 ) but distinguished by the shorter forewing with a less protruding apex, and the interrupted transverse line. The male genital capsule of the new species differs clearly from D. rubrescens ( Fig. 22 View Figures 20–23 ) in the considerably shorter and narrower uncus, the smaller and trapezoidal juxta (it is heavily sclerotised and shield-like in the congener), the markedly longer and narrower valva, and the noticeably narrower distal saccular process. The phallus of D. nujianga sp. n. is significantly shorter and narrower than in D. rubrescens (in proportion to the genital capsule size). Unlike in D. rubrescens , the vesica of D. nujianga sp. n. is short and narrow, has a considerably smaller dorsal diverticulum bearing finer spinules, and a larger lateral diverticulum. Compared to D. rubrescens ( Fig. 23 View Figures 20–23 ), the female genitalia of D. nujianga sp. n. have a longer apophysis anterioris, a straight ductus bursae with a longer posterior sclerotised section (it is medially twisted in D. rubrescens ), a broader anterior section of the corpus bursae bearing elliptical signa (they are rounded in the congener), and a markedly shorter appendix bursae.
Distribution. Southwest China (Yunnan Province).
Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the type locality of the new species, Nujiang Valley.
