Subgenus: Elachista View in CoL ; tetragonella View in CoL species group.
Distribution: Palearctic. Finland, Norway, Russia (European part), Sweden.
Larval host plant(s): unknown. The account of the biology given by Parenti & Pizzolato (2015b) is a summary of the biology of E. saarelai , originally presented by Kaila & Sippola (2010).
