Description: Body orange yellow, with little red tint. Vertex orange yellow, with large black patch in middle of anterior margin ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Eyes black ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Pronotum orange yellow, with median and lower half orange brown ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Scutellum orange yellow ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Forewing semitransparent, light brown.
Abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–7 ) small, not exceeding hind margin of 3rd sternite.
Male genitalia: Pygofer microtrichia well developed, pygofer dorsal appendage small, bifurcate near median part, its dorsal branch long and tapering towards apex, ventral branch short. ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Subgenital plate broadened sub-basally, provided with 3 long macrosetae on lateral surface; numerous peg-like setae and microsetae along dorsal margian and near apex ( Fig. 3 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Style truncate at apex, preapical lobe distinct ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Aedeagus shaft broad and compressed in lateral view, with pair of long basal processes which swollen at apex ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Preatrium and dorsal apodeme small in lateral view, but dorsal apodeme extremely expanded in ventral view ( Figs 5, 6 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Gonopore apical on ventral surface ( Figs 5, 6 View FIGURES 1–7 ). Connective nearly Y-shaped, with central lobe distinct and stem long ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1–7 ).
Specimen examined: Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Menghai , 23 VII 2008, coll. Yuehua Song. Paratypes: 2♀♀, same data as holotype .
Measurement: Body length ♂ 2.7 mm; ♀ 2.5~2.6 mm.
Remarks: This species is similar to E. (E.) linnavuorii Dworakowska 1972 , but can be distinguished by the atrial processes divergent from base; the aedeagus dorsal apodeme expanded in ventral view; the connective Yshaped, with stem large and the vertex with a nearly pentagon black patch medially.
Etymology: The specific name is derived from the Latin word “ conchata ”, which refers to the aedeagus with basal processes expanded apically.
