Enicospilus mauritii ( Saussure, 1892) View in CoL
( Fig. 15 View FIGURE 15 h)
Amesospilus rectecarinatus Enderlein, 1921: 20 ; Henicospilus leionotus longicornis Morley, 1912a: 173 ; Ophion mauritii Sau-
ssure, 1892: pl. 14
Diagnosis. Species with inter-ocellar area black, Rs+2r distinctly sinuate and no central sclerite on fore wing ( Fig. 13 View FIGURE 13 h).
Description. Gauld & Mitchell (1978).
Host records. Chilo sacchariphagus ( Lepidoptera : Pyralidae ), Tetramoera schistaceana ( Lepidoptera : Tortricidae ), Sesamia nonagrioides , S. calamistis and Mythimna loreyi ( Lepidoptera : Noctuidae ).
Comments. One of the examined specimens (MHNSD 2809) is much darker than the normal form. The meso- and metasoma show large testaceous to black markings, with the propodeum and tergites I-II uniformly black. It otherwise totally agrees with the description of Gauld & Mitchell (1978). We consider it to be a melanic form of E. mauritii , perhaps collected at high altitude.
Distribution records. Reunion ( Bordage 1914). Comoros, Madagascar, Mauritius, Seychelles and Zambia ( Gauld & Mitchell 1978).
Material examined. 1Ƥ ( MHNSD 2809), locality and date of collection unknown; 13 Petite Ile, I.2006, leg. IDR (light trap); 1Ƥ St Denis / Colorado, I.2009, leg.
