Host/habitat: Moss on a rotting tree trunk in the rain forest.
Distribution: Viti Levu: Suva ( Hammer 1971).
Remarks: Hammer (1971) recorded this species as Eohypochthonius gracilis (Jacot) which was later identified as Eohypochthonius berninii by Subías (2019). Evenhuis (2007) followed Hammer (1971) but referenced this species as Euhypochthonius [sic.] gracilis .
