Biology and notes. Eosalpingogaster conopida is a native species from northern Chile. Porter (1924) describes that a puparium of this species was collected in the plant species Foeniculum spp. and subsequently reared from a plant strongly attacked by aphids. In other countries, E. conopina has been described as a predator of Cercopidae and Dactylopidae ( Silva et al. 1968, Zimmermann et al. 1979).
Conservation status. LC; EOO = 299,326 km 2, AOO = 92 km 2, 18 subpopulations and 20 localities.
