Material examined. IRAN: S.E. Khorasan, Dakipatargun , 26.4.1898, 1♂ (Holotype) ; S.E. Persia, Shaandak , Kirman, 23.6.1898, 1♀ (Paratype) ; plus 4♂, 2♀ (Paratypes) (ZIN); S.E. Khorasan, Dakipatargun , 26.4.1898, 1♂ (Paratype) ; Khorasan, Surun-Dustabad , 20– 23.4.1896, 1♀ (Paratype) (all leg. N. A. Zarudny) ( NHMUK).

Remarks. The taxonomic history of this subspecies is the same as the nominotypical subspecies (see E. b. bampura Uvarov above). It is considered a subspecies of E. bampura .
