Remarks. This species has been described as a variation from Kazakhstan “Ala-Tau” for Mongolian Eremochorus faldermanni (Boheman, 1842) from Mongolia. E. (E.) asininus is distinguished by a wider body with spots on the interstriae of the elytra and a more curved apex of the aedeagus.

There are many errors in distribution of Eremochorus in the Palaearctic Catalogue (Alonso-Zarazaga et al. 2023), so a list of species of this genus with the correct distribution is provided.
