Evergestis dilutalis (Herrich-Schäffer, [1848])

Material examined. Russia: 1 ♀, Talgi, 14.vi.2022 .

Remarks. A single female of this rare species was attracted to light near the village Talgi in a dry mountain steppe ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1–4 ). The species is known only from Romania and Bulgaria, the record for Crimea ( Goater et al. 2005) requires confirmation ( E. dilutalis was not included in the catalogue of the Lepidoptera of Russia (Sinev & Streltzov 2022)). Dr. Yu. Budashkin (Feodosia, Russia) noted (pers. comm.) that during the last forty years of collecting in Crimea, this species had not been found by him nor by his colleagues.

Distribution. Romania, Bulgaria, Northeast Caucasus (Dagestan) ( Goater et al. 2005; Plant & Jakšić 2018).
