Holotype male in CPMG.

Type locality: Otonga, 00º25’01.2” S 79º00’14.0” W, 2065 m, Cotopaxi Province, Ecuador.

Distribution: Ecuador: Cotopaxi Province: known only from type locality.

Note: Because this species was transferred from another genus and not compared with other species, Gnaspini & Peck, 2019: 46 decided not to assign it to a species group. We adopt this position.
