Flabellototreta Pic, 1911

The genus Flabellototreta was described by Pic (1911a: 155) and included two species: F. fruhstorferi Pic, 1911 and F. obscuriceps Pic, 1911 . Three years later, Pic (1914b) described two more species ( F. ruficeps Pic, 1914 and F. malabarensis Pic, 1914 ), but under the generic name Flabellotreta . Because Pic stated that F. obscuriceps is close to F. ruficeps (“Voisin de F. obscuriceps Pic , très distinct par sa coloration et la forme différente”) we think it is a subsequent misspelling of the original generic name Flabellototreta .
