S p e c i m e n s e x a m i n e d f r o m: Europe: Greece, France, Italy, Ukraine, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus. Asia : Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kirghistan , Turkmenia , Turkey, Iran, Syria, Jordan.
R e c o g n i t i o n: The species is unique by a dense and coarse punctation of mesosoma in combination with a medially largely interrupted band on T1.
D i s t r i b u t i o n: Southern Central and Southern Europe to Central Asia, southwards to Israel and Jordan, one doubtful record from Algeria before 1898 (see PULAWSKI 1973).
