Length. Male 7.50 mm; female unknown.
External morphology. Slender species. General color of dorsum dark brown to black with small yellow spots on veins of forewings, cells translucent, 2 black broad transverse bands medially and subapically; pronotum and crown dark brown with small yellow scattered markings; eyes dark brown; face dark brown to tan with small yellow spots on clypeus and clypellus ( Plate 2H). Head significantly narrower than pronotum, anterior margin acutely angulate; crown narrow, about 1/3 as wide as width of eyes, produced distally about 1/3 of entire length, lateral margins parallel, carinate, disk depressed; eyes large, elongate-ovoid; pronotum about as long as median length of crown, surface sparsely bullated; mesonotum not accessible (pinned); forewings typical; clypeus elongate, broad at base, narrowed at apex; clypellus about 1/3 as long as clypeus, broad and inflated basally, lateral margins constricted medially.
Male genitalia. Pygofer in lateral view atypically broad with 2 caudal processes, caudodorsal process short curved lobe, caudoventral process very long, narrow, membranous, reaching to caudodorsal lobe ( Fig. 121); subgenital plate very long, very narrow, semibulbous subapically on outer lateral margin, profusely setose along distal 4/5 of outer lateral margin ( Fig. 122); style very long, distal ¾ very narrow ( Figs. 123, 124); aedeagus long, broadly tubular with prominent subapical flange on caudoventral margin, long subapical spine arising on caudodorsal margin, gonopore subapical ( Figs. 125, 126); connective small, Y-shaped ( Fig. 127); dorsal connective long, narrow, base entire, attached to base of aedeagal socle ( Figs. 125, 126).

Etymology. The name is descriptive for the single subapical flange on the aedeagus.
Remarks. This species is nearest to G. biflangata sp. nov. and can be separated by the single subapical flange and by the subdistal, semibulbous, outer margin of the subgenital plate.
