Type locality. San Ramon , Alajuela Province, Costa Rica.
Remarks. Re-examination of the species shows it possesses three-part tarsi and the curved timbal cover apex characteristic of Guyalna ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ). As a result the species is herby reassigned to Guyalna to become Guyalna coffea ( Sanborn, Moore & Young, 2008) n. comb. Body length 20.8–26.6 mm, fore wing length 32.5–37.6 mm ( Sanborn, et al. 2008).
Distribution. The species has been reported previously from Costa Rica ( Sanborn et al. 2008; Sanborn 2014).
