Haematopota subcylindrica View in CoL is a common species in Central, East, and North Europe, however in South and Southwest Europe, the species replaced by the closely related Haematopota ocelligera Kröber 1922 View in CoL ( Chvála et al. 1972). Moreover, the species recorded in Russia to East Siberia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Iran. It was reported from Iraq by Alaa & Karim (2016).
