Material: 27.04.2014 F 3mm; 18.05.2014 F 2mm; 30.05.2014 F 1m; 27.04.2014 F 3mm; 13.06.2014 F 1m 1f; 27.06.2014 F 2mm 4ff; 16.07.2014 F 4mm 1f; 30.07.2014 F 3mm 2ff.

Determination: MILLER (1971), GRIMM (1985), MARUSIK & LOGUNOV (1995).

Global distribution: Palaearctic.

Habitat: In humid meadows, moors and bog forests.

Note: Rarely found species ( NENTWIG et al. 2020); however, this could be the result of a low number of investigations in swampy areas. The species is missing in the Mediterranean region and Serbia together with Romania seem to be the southernmost countries with records of the species. We add some photos of the male palp and the epigyne ( Fig. 7 View Fig ). All our captures (27 individuals) come from the very wet Carex spp . field (habitat F). Haplodrassus moderatus is classified as endangered in Slovakia and the Czech Republic, but not endangered in Sweden and Germany.
