Distribution in Iran. “Persia” ( Wagner 1910; Winkler & Wagner 1930; Legalov et al. 2010), Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1986 as Apion persicum Desbrochers des Loges, 1893 ), East Azarbaijan ( Modarres Awal 1997, 2012 as Apion persicum ; Legalov et al. 2010 as Hemitrichapion (Tinocyba) persicum ), Iran (no exact locality cited) ( Legalov 2001).

New material examined. Fars province, near Qaderabad , 1♂, 3.iv.2008, leg. D. Baiocchi, E. Colonnelli collec- tion .

General distribution. “Caucasus”, Greece, Iran, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, Syria, Tadzhikistan, Uzbekistan.

Plant associations in Iran. Onobrychis altissima Grossh. (Fabaceae) ( Modarres Awal 1986, 1997, 2012).
