Type material. Holotype, ɗ [NSNTAr 5472], Vietnam, Lai Chau Province, DeoTrampton, 1650 m, Mt. Phang Si Pang ca. 15 km west of Sapa, 18.vii.2001, leg. S. Normura, examined.
Remarks. Heradion paradiseum comb. nov. is here considered a member of the naiadis group by the presence of the more or less triangular DTA of the male palpal organ ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 5 – 12 ). The species can be easily recognized by: the relatively broad DTA, the medially; the simple abruptly outward curved MA ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 5 – 12 ); the absence of RTA ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 5 – 12 ); the digitiform VTA with apical membranous part ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 5 – 12 , m).
