Current status: Hiperantha (Hyperanthoides) theryi Hoscheck in Hoscheck & Théry, 1928 ( Bellamy, 2008).

Comments: Hoscheck in Hoscheck & Théry, (1928:137) did not specify the exact number of specimens but stated clearly that the “ type ” (singular) was in his personal collection (col. m.) and came from Paraguay; additional type specimens in NHMUK and Théry collection came from “Villa Ana, Rep.Argentine”; additional type specimens in Muséum national d’histoire naturelle (MNHN) came from “Villa Montes, Bolivia (Miss. LIZER DELESTANG)”.
