Holoparasitus caesus species-group ( Juvara-Bals, 1975, modified)
Diagnosis. Both sexes. Gland pores gv 2 in unmodified cuticle.
Female. Presternal plate narrow medially, its anterior margin smooth, lateral platelets free; sternum not reticulated posteriorly to iv2; posterior paragynial lobes distant, metagynial sclerite arcuate, posterolateral protrusion locking the epigynium narrow, thickening of the anterior paragynial edge facing coxa III present; epigynial central prong angular with straight margins, epigynial subapical structure well sclerotised and compact, corresponding to a small diameter opening of a tube leading to endogynium (except for H. ampullaris possessing a large diameter opening leading to endogynium); endogynium bubble-shaped.
Male. Sternum with distinct, thick arcuate lines of reticulation between legs II;*excipulum on the sternum; hypostomatic setae on a cuticle not separated with incisions; corniculi with deeply sigmoidal adaxial border or indented; pedipalps with tubercles, distal margin of the pedipalp genu with tooth-like protrusion anterolaterally; fixed digit of chelicera with several minute teeth around pilus dentilis, movable digit with one proximal tooth and sometimes several minute teeth located distally.
