DISTRIBUTION: Democratic Republic of Congo, Seychelles, South Africa, Zambia.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Type locality is on Tanganyika plateau, N. E. Rhodesia [now N. E. Zambia], in Muchinga Province . Also, taxon collected from Petauke [Altitude, 2400 ft., or 731.5 m], East Loangwa [now Luangwa] District, N. E. Rhodesia [now N. E. Zambia], in Eastern Province .
