Note: This species was recently described and the original description is sufficient to identify specimens to species ( Steiner, 2005).
Material examined: (2 males): BRAZIL: Mato Grosso : 1 male. TB# 20882 ( ADSC) .
Diagnosis: The clypeal horn is long and thinnest at the base, widening apically and tapering at the apex and without an apical emargination. The supraorbital horns are long and strongly curved inward and forward. The horns of this species are very similar to those of H. dejeani , but this species has thicker supraorbital horns and no emargination at the apex of the clypeal horn. The mentum of this species is also medially and longitudinally bent and the metafemur is weakly bent ( Fig. 35 View FIGURE 35 ).
