Distribution. East Siberian, subboreal. Southern part of Krasnoyarsky Kray, Khakassia, Republic of Buryatia, Zabaikalsky Kray, Amurskaya Oblast. Outside Russia in China (Inner Mongolia, Hebei).
Hostplants: unknown.
Genetic note. Previously, we found that several sequences from Chinese samples in BOLD are conspecific with those we obtained from Siberian specimens of I. falckii . The moths from China are erroneously identified as I. foedata (Butler, 1879) in BOLD (we checked the photos of specimens: GWOR3245-08, GWORE2071-09, GWORE2069-09, GWORM629-09). That fact was noted in our work ( Makhov & Lukhtanov 2021), however, this article does not indicate that I. falckii was not previously known from China. Thus, here we record I. falckii for the Northern Territory of China for the first time.
