REMARKS
Jacquemontia linoides differs from all species treated here by its linear to narrowly lanceolate leaves with cuneate to rounded bases and glabrous, shorter sepals (3-4 mm long).
The holotype of Evolvulus graminifolius , deposited in Berlin, was destroyed during WWII, thus a lectotype is proposed using the Glaziou 11265 sample, deposited in P ( Fig. 9 View FIG ), but the localities was changed to Rio de Janeiro in resting from Cabo Frio. Wurdack (1970) explains that there is also a problem with the collections of Melastomataceae carried out by Glaziou.
