Distribution and ecology:— Jasminanthes laotica is endemic to Laos, where it was found growing in limestone forest in Nam Ha National BioDiversity Park. ( Ding et al. 2019).

Conservation status:— Data Deficient (DD, IUCN 2012, Ding et al. 2019).
