Lectotype (designated here by Reveal): Bartram?, Herb. Linn. No. 667.2 ( LINN) .

Current name: Jeffersonia diphylla (L.) Pers. ( Berberidaceae ).

Note: Stearn (Genus Epimedium: 222. 2002) indicated 667.1 (LINN) as type but this is associated with P. peltatum L. , not P. diphyllum , and is not original material for the latter.
