Kalicephalus inermis coronellae (Ortlepp)

Squamata (A): Esophagus, intestine, stomach.

GUERRERO: Puerto de Acapulco : Drymarchon corais ( Caballero, 1939b) . MICHOACÁN: Tancítaro: Crotalus triseriatus ( Comroe, 1948) . VERACRUZ: Omealca: Bothrops asper ( Caballero, 1938d) .

Specimens deposited: CNHE (1980-82, 1988-89); USNPC (37048).

Notes: Specimens from Guerrero and Veracruz were described as Kalicephalus humilis (Caballero, 1938, 1939b); those from Michoacán were identified as Kalicephalus conoides ( Comroe, 1948) ; however, both species are synonyms of Kalicephalus inermis coronellae ( Schad, 1962) . This species was included in the subgenus Inermiformis by Lichtenfels (1980).
