Abdominal apodemes ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 a) short but broad, extended to 4th sternite. Base of anal tube appendage ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 b, c) broad, apical hook short and slim.
Pygofer dorsal appendage ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 b, c) slightly curved ventrad, relatively broad near apex. Subgenital plate ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 b, e) with 4 macrosetea. Paramere ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 f, g) apex straight, preapical lobe small. Connective ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 h) with lateral arms short, manubrium long. Aedeagal shaft ( Fig. 11 View FIGURE 11 i, j) broadened apically, denticulate near tip, without process; preatrum small; gonopore large in hind view, subapical, ventral.
Measurement. Body length: males 2.9–3.0mm.
Material examined. Holotype: 3, China: Yunnan Prov., Fengqing County, 1600m, 29 xi 1999, coll. I. Dworakowska. Paratypes: 23, same data as holotype.
Remarks. This species is similar to K. alba Dworakowska , but has the pygofer dorsal appendage broad near its apex, the anal tube appendage with its apical hook short, the apical part of the paramere short and straight, the connective narrower, and the aedeagus with the apical part much broader.
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the Latin word “imminutus”, referring to the shortened hook of the anal tube appendage.
