Type material. Holotype: Male (IZCAS-Ar39657), Longtan Cave (23°30.293′N, 103°55.920′E, elevation 1416 m), Dahongshezhai Village , Matang Town , Wenshan County, Wenshan, Yunnan, China, 1 August 2010, Z. Yao, X. Wang and C. Wu leg. GoogleMaps Paratypes: 1 male and 2 females (IZCAS-Ar39658–Ar39660), same data as holotype GoogleMaps .

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality and is a noun in apposition.

Diagnosis. This species resembles K. nanningensis Yao & Li, 2010 (see Yao & Li 2010: 12, f. 37A–D, 38A–D, 39A–D, 40A–D) with similar male chelicerae ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 C–D) and epigynum ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ), but can be distinguished by presence of three distal apophyses on procursus (arrows in Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ) and nearly triangular pore plates ( Fig. 8B View FIGURE 8 ).

Description. Male (holotype): Total length 2.72 (2.81 with clypeus), carapace 1.02 long, 1.16 wide, opisthosoma 1.70 long, 1.22 wide. Leg I: – (6.91 + 0.51 + 6.91 + 10.80 + –), leg II: 18.44 (5.18 + 0.49 + 4.53 + 6.56 + 1.68), leg III: 14.21 (4.24 + 0.43 + 3.38 + 4.93 + 1.23), leg IV: 16.77 (5.03 + 0.44 + 4.20 + 6.19 + 0.91); tibia I L/d: 53. Habitus as in Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 E–F. Carapace yellowish, with black margins and narrow, dark median line; sternum black. Legs brownish, but slightly whitish on distal parts of femora and tibiae, with distinct darker rings on subdistal parts of femora and on proximal and subdistal parts of tibiae. Opisthosoma yellowish, with large black spots. Distance PME- PME 0.16, diameter PME 0.14, distance PME-ALE 0.03, AME absent. Ocular area slightly elevated and separated from rest of carapace. Thoracic furrow shallow, but distinct. Clypeus unmodified. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.71/0.60). Chelicerae ( Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 C–D) with pair of small proximo-ectal apophyses, pair of small distal apophyses on ectal surface, pair of strong frontal apophyses (arrows in Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 C–D) provided with scales each, and pair of long, hooked frontal apophyses (distance between tips: 0.07). Pedipalps as in Figs 7 View FIGURE 7 A–D; trochanter with short retrolateral apophysis and small ventral apophysis; femur with retrolateral apophysis; patella large; procursus simple proximally but complex distally, with three distal apophyses (arrows in Fig. 7C View FIGURE 7 ); bulb simple, no other projections except for embolus. Retrolateral trichobothria of tibia I at 8% proximally; legs with short vertical setae on metatarsi and tarsi, without spines and curved setae.

Female (IZCAS-Ar39659): Similar to male, habitus as in Figs 8 View FIGURE 8 G–H. Total length 2.91 (2.97 with clypeus), carapace 0.91 long, 0.97 wide, opisthosoma 2.00 long, 1.34 wide; tibia I: 5.41; tibia I L/d: 49. Distance PME-PME 0.12, diameter PME 0.13, distance PME-ALE 0.03. Sternum slightly wider than long (0.65/0.61). Epigynum ( Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ) brown, with large posterior lip medially (arrow in Fig. 8A View FIGURE 8 ). Vulva ( Fig. 8B View FIGURE 8 ) with slightly curved anterior arch and pair of large nearly triangular pore plates.

Variation: Tibia I in male paratype: 6.95. Tibia I in another female paratype: 6.04.

Natural History. The species was found on its irregular web in the entrance zone of cave.
