( Figs 10–13 View FIGURES 6 – 13. 6 – 8 )

Description. Male. Integument mostly metallic green (lighter dorsally on head and on pronotum); scape Violaceous toward apex; antennomeres, tibiae and tarsi Violaceous; femoral peduncle with Violaceous reflections, especially on basal third; apex of genae, anteclypeus, labrum, distal third of mandibles and distal area of abdominal Ventrites I–IV dark Violaceous; elytra opaque, orangish-brown except metallic dark green sutural band nearly reaching middle, surrounding scutellum narrowed at about its middle and distally, gradually more opaque and Violaceous toward apex.

Head. Frons with short, sub-decumbent, sparse grayish-white setae. Area between antennal tubercles finely, moderately abundantly punctate (punctures slightly sparser than on frons, partially confluent). Remaining surface of Vertex densely, minutely punctate; with short, decumbent, abundant grayish-white setae not obscuring integument. Area behind upper eye lobes densely, minutely punctate close to Vertex and prothoracic margin, slightly coarser, sparser close to eye toward lower eye lobe. Area behind lower eye lobes nearly smooth toward upper eye lobe (except slightly, oblique striae), densely, finely punctate toward Ventral side on area close to eye, finely, sparsely punctate toward prothorax; with grayish-white pubescence not obscuring integument on punctate area close to eye, glabrous on remaining surface; with long, erect, sparse setae on pubescent area. Antennal tubercles moderately finely and sparsely punctate except smooth area on apex. Genae transVersely striate close to eye, finely, moderately sparsely punctate on remaining surface except smooth apex; with short, sparse, decumbent grayish-white setae toward frons and Ventral side, interspersed with long, erect, moderately abundant grayish-white setae toward Ventral side. Gulamentum smooth close to prothorax, transVersely striate-punctate on wide central area, slightly depressed, finely, abundantly punctate close to mentum; with short and long, erect grayish-white setae except glabrous area close to prothorax. Distance between upper eye lobes 0.47 times length of scape; in frontal View, distance between lower eye lobes 0.51 times length of scape. Antennae 3.75 times elytral length, reaching elytral apex near apex of antennomere V. Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III: scape = 0.49; pedicel = 0.06; IV = 1.03; V = 1.14; VI = 0.91; VII = 0.88; VIII = 0.96; IX = 0.98; X = 0.93; XI = 1.26.

Thorax. Prothorax 1.25 times longer than wide. Pronotum densely, finely punctate (slightly coarser and sparser on longitudinal central area) except transVerse striate-punctate area before laterobasal gibbosities, striatepunctate on distal surface of laterodistal gibbosities and small area in front of them, and smooth, narrow distal area; glabrous, except for minute, sparse grayish-white setae between laterodistal gibbosities. Sides of prothorax smooth basally, striate inside of basal sulcus, minutely, densely punctate between basal and distal sulci, smooth on tumid distal area, and striate between tumid area and distal margin. Prosternum minutely, densely rugose-punctate on basal 2/3, transVersely striate on distal third; with short, sub-erect, moderately abundant grayish-white setae on basal 2/3, distinctly exposing integument, interspersed with long, erect setae, sparse on distal third. Ventral side of meso- and metathorax densely, micropunctate (general appearance opaque), less so on metepisternum; with grayish-white pubescence not obscuring integument. Scutellum finely, abundantly punctate.

Elytra. Moderately finely, abundantly punctate throughout; with minute, abundant grayish-white pubescence not obscuring integument.

Legs. Femora and tibiae densely, micropunctate; with moderately long, erect, sparse setae.

Abdomen. Densely micropunctate, interspersed with fine, sparse punctures; with grayish-white pubescence, not obscuring integument, interspersed with long, erect, sparse grayish-white setae.

Dimensions in mm: Total length, 13.86; prothorax: central length, 2.92; distal width, 1.69; basal width, 2.11; widest width, 2.34; humeral width, 2.92; elytral length, 9.18.

Type material. Holotype male from COSTA RICA, Alajuela: San Ramón ( Bajo Los RodrigueZ), VII.2016, local collector ( MZSP).

Etymology. Latin, bicolor = of two colors; allusiVe to the color of the holotype.
