Description. Length (including wings): male 4.0 mm.

Crown yellowish. Face basally, frontoclypeus and anteclypeus yellow; anteclypeus brownish apically; eyes black; ocelli dark brown; lora and gena brown ( Fig. 1D View FIGURE 1 ). Pronotum mainly yellowish, lateral and posterior area dark brown. Scutellum yellow, mesoscutum brownish, basal triangles dark brown ( Fig. 1C View FIGURE 1 ). Mesepimeron and legs ochraceous, hind leg macrosetae reddish brown. Forewing brownish, with dark brown oblique macula near midlength of costal margin bordered by broad yellow areas, clavus with large yellow transcommissural spot bordered with dark brown.

Male genitalia. Pygofer ventral margin hook-like apically. Subgenital plate shorter than pygofer, with several long fine setae on dorsal and ventral margin ( Fig. 4A View FIGURE 4 ). Connective with high medial longitudinal keel. Style apex broad and digitiform, with few short setae on dorsal margin, lateral surface concave subapically ( Fig. 4I View FIGURE 4 ). Aedeagal shaft with small triangular subapical process on dorsal surface in lateral view, apex with pair of short, slender processes extended distad and slightly laterad, dorsal apodeme ovoid, broader than shaft in ventral view, base acutely pointed in ventral view ( Figs. 4E–F View FIGURE 4 ).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the large transcommissural spot on the forewing.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Malaysia, Sarawak (Borneo), Lambir Hills Nat`I Park, S Miri, N4°11′53.9″ E114°02′31.4″, 2006. x.12–23. J.R. Cryan & J.M. Urban, Hg vapor light ( INHS).
