Type: JAPAN. Ryukyu, Iriomote Island, along Nakara River, N.Fukuyama s.n., 30 May 1938, (lectotype KPM-NA 0105553, isolectotypes KPM-NA 0105554, KPM-NA 0105555), designated here.

Distribution: Japan (Ryukyu Islands), Taiwan (New Taipei and Pingtung), the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
