Acantholepis frauenfeldi var. truncata Finzi, 1940, p. 162 (w.) Tunisia. Palaearctic.
Diagnosis
Worker. Bicoloured species with red mesosoma, antennae, tibiae and tarsi yellow, head, gaster, petiole, coxae, and femur brown; pronotum with a single pair of setae; propodeal spines short and acute; petiole with much reduced blunt teeth; head and mesosoma finely sculptured and dull, gaster slightly shining.
Material examined. One site: 3.
Geographic range. This species was previously only known from its type locality in Tunisia .
Ecology and biology. Unknown.
