Leptodactylus lithonaetes Heyer, 1995

Holotype: AMNH. 100656.

Type locality: “ Venezuela: Amazonas, SW sector Cerro Yapacana , 600 m, 3° 57’N, 67° 00’W.”

Distribution: Regions 4, 5. Western Guiana Shield ( Colombia and Venezuela). In Venezuela, restricted to rocky outcrops of extreme southeastern Apure State, Amazonas, and northwestern Bolívar State.

Remarks: Heyer and Barrio-Amorós (2009) describe the call. Sister species of Leptodactylus rugosus . In Leptodactylus pentadactylus species group of De Sá et al. (2014).
