Diagnosis. This species is very similar to L. saigusai in the male terminalia ( Figs 11 View FIGURE 11 I, 11J, 23), but can be distinguished from the latter by having the wing with distinct patches each on tips of R2+3 and R4+5 ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 J), the abdominal tergites second to sixth with patches sublaterally ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 K).

Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with ca. 3–5 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brownish yellow to yellowish brown. Pedicel yellow, first flagellomere yellowish brown. Clypeus brownish. Palpus large and broad in female. Mesonotum yellowish brown medially, dark brown laterally and near scutellar sutere ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 I). Acrostichal setulae in ca. 12–14 irregular rows ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 I). Postpronotal lobe yellow. Scutellum dark brown, pale at tip ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 I). Katepisternum and meron brown ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 J). Wing ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 J): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with ca. 7– 8 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown to dark brown ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 K); second yellow medially; third to fifth each with a pair of yellow patches submedially; sixth with a yellow patches medially. Male terminalia: Epandrium with ca. 5 setae near posterior margin and ca. 7 setae near ventral corner per side ( Fig. 23 View FIGURE 23 A). Hypandrium lacking sensillum ( Fig. 23 View FIGURE 23 B). Paramere ventrally with ca. 2 sensilla and pubescence ( Fig. 23 View FIGURE 23 C).
